Join NPower Canada and Aboriginal Futures as we host an In-Person Information Session for individuals looking to enter the IT Industry.
- Get information on NPower’s Junior IT Analyst Program (no IT experience required), and Junior Data Analyst Program (prior knowledge in IT required)
- These no-cost (free) 15 week programs are available to individuals who have graduated from high school and demonstrate a need for support to enter the IT Industry
- Learn more about the Indigenous Tech Career Pathways Program which provides Indigenous job seekers with enhanced wraparound services and Elder-led counselling to support their successful completion of the NPower program
JUNIOR IT ANALYST PROGRAM
Delivered in partnership with Google, this instructor-led program equips participants with marketable skills for tech-enabled jobs. Graduates of this program will receive the Google IT Support Professional Certificate. You don’t need any prior knowledge in IT to apply for this program. You’ll learn in-demand skills that will have you job-ready in less than six months. The Junior IT Analyst Program is for you if you enjoy solving problems, learning new tools and helping others.
JUNIOR DATA ANALYST PROGRAM
The Junior Data Analyst Program is tuition-free and is an intermediate program. Successful applicants must have prior knowledge in IT, technical and/or programming. Co-sponsored and developed in partnership with Microsoft, the Junior Data Analyst Program equips participants with a certificate in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals. You’ll be job-ready in less than six months. This program is for you if you enjoy complex, critical and technical analysis and, testing and validating data.
