About the Role
The Battlefords Treatment Centre is seeking an experienced and compassionate Addictions Treatment Manager to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight within our residential addiction treatment program. This role supports counsellors, oversees treatment delivery, and ensures safe, ethical, and culturally responsive care for clients.
This position is ideal for a skilled addictions professional ready to step into a meaningful leadership role with real community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision and leadership to Addictions Counsellors
Oversee treatment planning, delivery, and documentation
Support staff development, performance, and professional growth
Respond to client risk, crisis situations, and complex care needs
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and CARF standards
Support daily operations, admissions, discharges, and quality improvement initiatives
Promote trauma-informed, culturally safe, and ethical care
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Addictions Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
3–5 years experience in addictions treatment (supervisory experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of addiction recovery models and best practices
Experience with documentation, risk assessment, and group facilitation
CARF accreditation experience considered an asset
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
