Our career development practitioners can help you find a training program and help qualifying clients access funding.
Aboriginal Futures provides funding for training programs that are 52 weeks or less to First Nation and Inuit individuals.
We can assist eligible candidates with their funding applications for:
- Safety Ticket Training
- Skill Enhancement
- Pre-Apprenticeship Programs
- Vocational Studies
In order to qualify for funding, you must meet the following criteria.
Proof of First Nations Registered Status or Inuit Status
Proof of residency in Calgary or surrounding area
Ready, willing, and able to complete the training program
Able to demonstrate a need for training or retraining
Must be accepted into an accredited training program
You must meet all criteria to be eligible for funding.
