Reports To Slot Manager
Position Summary:
The Slot Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the slot department during an assigned shift and as well as managing the duties of the Slot Attendant. This role is responsible for supervising Slot Attendants and Technicians, ensures that the slot operation is operated in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions, Operating Guidelines, Gaming and Liquor Act, Gaming and Liquor Regulations and all board policies.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensures slot equipment is maintained and issues reported to Gaming Officials immediately.
- Ensures all Slot associates are familiar with Fraud, Counterfeit and FINTRAC procedures.
- Provides daily financial information as per AGLC and Company policies.
- Oversee the daily count and ensure the integrity of the Count Rooms and equipment.
- Overseas and monitors a shift.
- Provides exceptional guest service excellence.
- Monitors the gaming floor to ensure slot integrity.
- Provides basic technical support for slot machines, machine malfunction diagnosis.
- Responds to and resolves guest issues.
- Oversees ATM floats, operations, and maintenance.
- Oversees Keno and lottery operations.
- Implements and maintains slot operations policies and procedures.
- Manage other initiatives or duties as required.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 10 education or suitable combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Computer literacy in MS Office an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Casino: slot operations and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiar with FINTRAC, counterfeiting and money laundering procedures.
- First Nations experience an asset.
- Criminal Record Clearance mandatory
- Experience: 1 year
- Work Location: In person.
Work Environment Considerations

Licensing or Certification Requirements
For positions that require special certification, the appropriate level of certification will be maintained. This position requires AGLC Registration and must maintain a valid AGLC license.
