About the Role:
Reporting
The Warehouse Technician (General) reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection and verification on aircraft parts and components to ensure accuracy in inventory.
- Inspect aircraft parts and components certification paperwork, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations and Avmax policies and procedures.
- Receive, sort, and stock materials to the location assigned in the ERP system.
- Report unserviceable parts and components to the Lead Inventory Analyst.
- Assist in creating and maintaining records on the receipt or distribution of aircraft material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
- Examine inbound shipments for accuracy and conditions, sort the shipments, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of all shipments.
- Ensure physical inventory counts of aviation parts and equipment match the ERP system records.
- Maintaining an organized receiving bay and warehouse area by offloading trucks and faciliting distribution activities.
- Mitigating the risk of loss or damage by packing and handling material appropriately.
- Providing ongoing support for the Warehouse Team and providing cross-functional daily support with picking, receiving inspection, outbound shipping, and distribution, as required.
- Provide training and supporting the training needs of other teams.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and notifying management of any safety concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent. Aviation-related training and/or eduation is considered a strong asset.
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in aviation.
- Experience with a computerized inventory system preferred.
- Aviation experience is considered an asset.
