Position Summary
Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centres is seeking a reliable Maintenance Person to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintain grounds including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep to other properties.
Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Ensure safety standards are maintained and report potential hazards.
Assist with room setups, furniture moving, and other facility needs.
Qualifications
Experience in building or facility maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance practices.
Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and outdoor work.
