Salary: $17 - $19/ hour; Salary increases as per company policy
Benefits: 50% off meals while on shift
Hours: 30-50 hours per week depending on season. Busy season is May through September; off season is October through April
Terms and Conditions of Employment: Permanent, Full time; Shift, Day, Morning, Evening, Weekend, Overtime
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Requirements
Language: English
Education/Experience: Culinary certificate or diploma. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Overtime required, Physically demanding

Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Inspect and clean kitchens, food service, and work areas
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Assist servers as food runner
- Wash dishes
Work Setting: Restaurant, Hotel
Additional Information: Must be able and willing to obtain a food safety certificate prior to commencing employment.
