About CFT7:
Community Futures Treaty Seven was incorporated in 1990 under the name of Treaty Seven Economic Development Corporation (T7EDC). In 2008, Treaty Seven Economic Development Corporation underwent a name change to Community Futures Treaty Seven (CFT7). The Treaty Seven Chiefs are the Shareholders of CFT7.
Mission
In the Employment and Training realm, CFT7 supports all First Nations individuals to obtain and maintain meaningful employment based on community needs through the provision of training in the Treaty Seven Catchment Area.
Here is what your contribution will be as a Manager / Employment counselor with our Team:
- Network with industry, employment and partner agencies to build a network of employers;
- Hire, train and supervise staff to be Employment Counselors
- Develop long term business strategy to focus on the importance of the business and the community we serve
- Develop and oversee long term operational budgets and training programs
To Fit the Role
- Post-Secondary education in Management , Career development, or Human Resource Management or minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role related to employment / management services;
- Knowledge of labour market trends and supply and demand;
- Experience networking and establishing relationships with industry, employers and community partners;
- Articulate in creating reports and statistical summaries. Clear understanding of case management and the ability to oversee staff caseloads and data input
- Be part of the Indigenous Community of Lethbridge and area
Wage Rate:
- $62,000.00 to $72,000.00 per year depending on experience
