Full-Time | Leadership Position
Position Overview
The Site Manager plays a key leadership role at Battlefords Treatment Centre, overseeing daily operations and providing clinical supervision to the addictions counselling team. This position ensures the delivery of safe, ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally respectful treatment services in a residential setting. The Site Manager supports staff development, client safety, and program quality while contributing to continuous improvement and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical and Program Leadership
Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and guidance to Addictions Counsellors
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized client treatment plans
Assess client risk, respond to crisis situations, and support high-needs clients
Promote healthy group dynamics and client engagement in treatment programming
Ensure adherence to ethical standards, professional boundaries, and organizational policies
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations within a 24/7 residential treatment environment
Review client documentation, treatment summaries, and reports for accuracy and compliance
Support staff scheduling, timekeeping, and operational workflows
Participate in accreditation processes and ensure compliance with CARF standards
Ensure timely incident reporting, documentation, and quality assurance practices
People Leadership and Communication
Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary counselling team
Address performance issues, conflict, and ethical concerns in a timely and professional manner
Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, clients, and external partners
Model professionalism, accountability, and sound decision-making
Cultural and Client-Centred Care
Support culturally grounded and trauma-informed treatment approaches
Promote client growth in spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being
Maintain confidentiality and clearly defined professional boundaries
Foster a respectful and inclusive healing environment
Qualifications
Required
Registration with a recognized professional body (RSW, ICADC, CCAC, or equivalent)
Eligibility to provide clinical supervision
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in addictions treatment or a related field
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of addictions treatment best practices and crisis intervention
Assets
Experience in a residential treatment or healing lodge environment
Knowledge of CARF accreditation standards
Experience working in culturally grounded or Indigenous-led programs
