Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The bartender will be a key part of our food and beverage service team, contributing to a lively and friendly environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
- Ensure all food safety and food handling standards are maintained at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service policies.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.
Education and Qualification Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a bar or hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and serving guests professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly. This position offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can shine while providing memorable experiences for our guests.

- Criminal Record Clearance mandatory
- AGLC's ProServe & Reel Facts (required)
- Food & Beverage Experience: 3 years (preferred)
Work Environment Considerations
Regular and restaurant environment, non-traditional work hours, standing and walking for long periods of time; lifting and carrying.
