Wages                  $15 - $17 / Hour (Competitive hourly wage, plus gratuities)

Job Types             Full Time / Permanent

Schedule              Shift (8 - 10-hour shifts, Afternoon, Evenings, Nights, Weekdays/Weekends as needed, Holidays)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional and personable Casino Dealer to join our gaming team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing table games, providing exceptional guest service, and ensuring a fair and enjoyable gaming environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Prior supervising experience and leadership qualities are a plus for candidates looking to advance within our casino operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide an inviting atmosphere for all guests to promote game play.
  • Operate table games with accuracy and compliance with AGLC Terms and Conditions
  • Control pace of play to efficient yet comfortable pace for guests.
  • Respond to guest issues and escalate as required.
  • Monitor chips and cash.
  • Payout winning hands with accuracy
  • Ensure the integrity of the game.
  • Observes problematic gaming guest behavior and reports to supervisors.
  • Other duties as required.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • Grade 10 education or suitable combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy in MS Office an asset
  • First Nations experience an asset.
  • Other languages an asset
  • Criminal Record Clearance mandatory
  • 1 year customer service experience

Work Environment Considerations

Regular work environment, non-traditional work hours, standing for extended periods of time, carrying, lifting, bending, and stretching.

Licensing or Certification Requirements

For positions that require special certification, the appropriate level of certification will be maintained. This position requires AGLC Registration and must maintain a valid AGLC license.
