Job Locations:
- Based in Red Deer, with travel to various locations in Alberta.
- The employer provides transportation.
- Travel or living allowance when working out of town, per company policy
- Flight reimbursement for relocation from within Canada available, per company policy.
Wage: $33.33-35/hour (based on skills and experience), salary increases as per Company policy
Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-Time, 40 to 60 hours/week (weather-dependent), Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime

Job requirements:
Language: Basic English
Education: Not required
Experience: 3 years of related experience
Work Setting: Commercial, Roads and bridges, Sidewalks and curbs
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dusty
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads (up to 23kg/50lbs), Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods
Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Reliability, Team player
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Duties:
- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade,
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement,
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete,
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification,
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools,
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces,
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures,
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
