Anticipated start date: Spring 2024 (exact start date depending on weather)
Wage: $32 to $34/hr (Salary based on experience, increases based on performance).

Duties:
- Placing forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch are achieved
- Monitoring the effect heat, wind, and cold have on curing concrete to ensure high-quality results
- Removing edges on expansion joints and sides
- Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
- Polishing surfaces using smoothing materials, abrasive tools, and surfacing machines
- Aligning forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters
- Waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces
- Compacting materials using power vibrators to create leveled bases
- Finishing concrete surfaces with rough or smooth patterns depending on the customer's preference
- Signaling truck drivers and moving chutes to facilitate pouring concrete onto forms
- Casting and spreading concrete to patch voids
- Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of the concrete
- Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
