Position Summary
Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centres is seeking a reliable Maintenance Person to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical).
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment.
- Maintain grounds including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained and report potential hazards.
- Assist with room setups, furniture moving, and other facility needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in building or facility maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance practices.
- Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and outdoor work.
