Reporting
The Warehouse Technician (Receiving) reports directly to the Receiving Supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Examine inbound shipments for accuracy and condition, sort shipments, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of all materials.
- Receive and transact parts into the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Transport Canada regulations and Avmax policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain delivery logs and receiving records upon receipt of aircraft materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies.
- Report unserviceable parts and components to the Cores Receiver and Receiving Supervisor.
- Route parts to stock locations or for intercompany transfer in accordance with Avmax procedures.
- Ensure physical inventory counts of aviation parts and equipment match ERP system records.
- Maintain an organized receiving bay and warehouse area by offloading trucks and facilitating distribution activities.
- Consolidate storage locations and reorganize materials to optimize warehouse space, updating the ERP system as required.
- Mitigate the risk of loss or damage by properly packing, handling, and storing materials.
- Provide ongoing support to the Warehouse team and assist with picking, receiving inspections, outbound shipping, and distribution activities as required.
- Assist with training and support the development needs of other team members as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the development of process efficiencies.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report any safety concerns to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Aviation-related training and/or education is considered a strong asset.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in aviation.
- Experience with a computerized inventory system is preferred.
