Aboriginal Futures can help. Our career development practitioners can assist you in developing a career action plan and help qualifying clients access funding.

Aboriginal Futures provides post-secondary funding for First Nation and Inuit individuals entering a one year certificate program, or their final two semesters of a diploma or degree program.
In order to qualify for post-secondary funding, you must meet the following criteria.
Proof of First Nations Registered Status or Inuit Status
Proof of residency in Calgary or surrounding area
Ready, willing, and able to complete the program
Able to demonstrate a need for training or retraining
Must be accepted into a full-time program at an accredited Institute in Calgary

You must meet all criteria to be eligible for funding.

All funding applications must be received four to six weeks prior to the start date of your program.
